Audio-reactive parameters

Syncing video movement to volume peaks (instead of just low frequencies), I want it to move in time with the drum stem instead of just bass lines, if there's a way to sync it to different things that would be great
Also syncing other elements to volume, so the VHS distorted or scaling something in time with the volume being loud and peaking

Agreed. I liked this tool for its ease of use, but I'm dropping it in favor of software with more freedom such as blender or davinci resolve, because there is no audio based automation of light intensity. I wanted the windows, computer screens, and streetlights in 3D models to glow in sync with the music.
One possible user-intuitive way to make it sync to different parts of the audio would be to add options to automate based on filtered audio. A light might be automated based on the audio after low, high, or triangle pass filters are applied. By abstracting it this way, the user gets freedom without too much increased cognitive load, which is the niche that you're targeting.
Eventually, you'll probably want the ability to automate different things based on many derivatives of the base audio, such as isolating the high end with a filter, then smoothing spikes from hi-hats with reverb or delay.

Ethan McCoy Great ideas about having an EQ to isolate parts for audio reactivity. Thank you!
