I have a .wav bounced from an extended track and want to post a small story on Instagram. However, it’s slightly bigger than the max upload size. Now I have to figure out where and how to compress my track to a MP3, adding a lot of friction to this flow. Since this is an electron/client only app, I would assume it’s possible to compress on the client side to AAC/MP3 or anything that’s smaller. Alternatively you could propose a quick way to cut the track, especially if you are posting a story. A point of friction for my first usage is getting the cover art and song in. From a UX perspective I would suggest going directly into a project so the user can explore, or offering a demo track and artwork to continue.

Ability to hold the modifier key and select multiple objects for further movement or editing

Add "opacity" settings for 3D objects and ability to automate it

It feels counterintuitive to not be able to choose where in my effects chain I put bloom, for example. The predetermined order feels unnecessarily restrictive.

Ready-made transition animations

Syncing video movement to volume peaks (instead of just low frequencies), I want it to move in time with the drum stem instead of just bass lines, if there's a way to sync it to different things that would be great Also syncing other elements to volume, so the VHS distorted or scaling something in time with the volume being loud and peaking

Ability to apply effects to specific objects like 3D models, text, etc

black and white/ sepia filter on the video layers and/or the effects layer would be amazing (for me more useful on the video layers just so I can still colour text and other objects

add the ability in scenes mode to auto populate w/ random scenes based on every 4 bars/8 bars. would make chopping and editing easier
